This Month At BCC IT: January

Welcome to the first 2024 this month at BCC all! As we step into the fresh canvas of 2024, January at BCC has been marked by chilly days, long nights, and a delicate dusting of snow. In this blog post, we’re excited to bring you up to speed on all the happenings within the BCC family, ranging from our office dynamics to the latest updates on our dedicated staff.

January unfolded as a rather tranquil month for us here at BCC. It kicked off with a collective celebration as we bid farewell to 2023, each of us revelling in the festivities from the comfort of our homes surrounded by loved ones. Some of us may have nursed a New Year’s hangover a tad longer than others, but we all made sure to use the holiday spirit for some extended family time.

Returning to the office brought with it a renewed sense of purpose and energy, as we eagerly embraced the possibilities that the new year holds. The once-festive Christmas decorations made way for a clean slate, symbolizing a return to the routine after the joyous holiday season.

As we navigated through the initial weeks of January, our team experienced a period of calm and reflection. It provided us with an opportunity to regroup, set intentions, and gear up for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in 2024. Many big things are coming soon from us at BCC so I thought I’d take the time to talk about them and let you know what we’ll be doing here in the future at BCC IT.

First and foremost we’re very close to launching our new website. Our old website has been up for years and it’s time for an update. We partnered with Bizengine for help designing the website while a lot of the writing and pages were created by the marketing team.  You’re currently reading this on the new website. We hope you like it and we will notify you of any updates made in the future regarding the website.

Next is that we’ll be renewing our sponsorships soon and also looking for new sponsorships. We’re excited to see the BCC logo and colours on new sports kits, banners and materials. We will make sure to announce our new sponsorships here and hope that you support them in all their endeavours with us.

Lastly, we will be taking more action on social media. We’re currently looking at X (FKA Twitter), Linked in and possibly Instagram to post more on and build connections with you all through them. We look forward to the new content being made on all of them and will make sure to link the accounts here to our website.

We look forward to the challenges that 2024 brings and finding different ways to overcome them daily. Whether it be with work and finding the best IT solution for your business or everyday life. We’re always ready for the challenge. Leave IT to us.
