Happy Friday, everyone! With the weekend just around the corner and the month wrapping up, we’re gearing up for the winter months ahead. Speaking of changes, let’s dive right into the whirlwind of transformations that have taken place in our office lately.

First off, let me introduce myself. I’m Tomos, the newest addition to the provisioning and marketing team. It’s been a pleasure getting to know everyone and settling into my role here. I’ll be your monthly guide through all the happenings at BCC IT, so stay tuned for the latest news, events, and noteworthy achievements within our vibrant community.

Now, let’s talk about a current change to BCC IT’s working environment – the office makeover! We’ve initiated some major renovations, transitioning to a more open-plan workspace. Currently, a small number of us find ourselves in our makeshift office in the meeting room, as most of our team is working remotely. Our office has been bustling with activity, and we’ve even broken down a wall or two. Think of it as a team-building exercise, only with more heavy lifting and power tools! We can’t wait to unveil the final look once everything is in place.

On a heartwarming note, we’ve also dedicated this month to charitable initiatives. We kicked things off with a delightful coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer, where our team showcased their baking prowess with an array of delectable cakes. Additionally, Deborah, our remarkable head of human resources, bravely shaved her head to raise funds for breast cancer research. Her courage and dedication to the cause have left us all inspired.
